Arc Flash Hazard Seminar

This four-hour Arc Flash Hazard classroom training has been developed and is taught by an OSHA Authorized General Industry instructor who has 13-years arc flash assessment experience among other duties. At the end of this course, the student will understand the nature of the arc flash problem, OSHA's stance on arc flash and enforcement, and PPE requirements work safely on energized equipment. This class focuses on the Standards including NFPA-70E and OSHA and is geared towards the experienced workforce engaging in energized equipment to safety personnel who wants to learn the dangers of the arc flash hazards. This class can be taught here in our state of the art training facility or can be taken on the road to your facility.
NESC Arc Assessment Seminar

Seminar to address the needs of the utilities related to the new National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) arc assessment requirements. The NESC has mandated an Arc Assessment to be completed by January 1, 2009. The course will include an explanation of arc flash hazards, an overview of arc flash calculations, and class exercise in arc assessments for several typical system locations.
Substation Seminar

Seminar structured to provide specialized training to increase the knowledge level of distributor employees who have responsibilities for substations. This seminar will be structured as a learning experience for participants with a medium knowledge level of substation operations.
